Stunning and contemporary, yet with a distinctive sixties and domestic heritage flavour, Copper Gate is a 4 bedroomed, 2 bathroomed house built with warmth, sustainability and eco-principles in mind, including Nelson-sun generating solar electricity . With gorgeous open views down a gently sloping farm paddock to Seaton Valley, it also has views of the Richmond Ranges and some lovely glimpses of Tasman Bay from the large ‘floating’ deck and from the Paris Suite. Copper Gate can be customised to your requirements – you could choose to stay in just the Paris king-sized bedroom with ensuite and open-plan lounge, and kitchen, or you could choose to take the full house. Of course, you would be the sole occupants, whichever option you choose.
The original ‘Corru Gate’ cottage has quite a different feel – it oozes rustic rural-chic charm, and is funky and artistic. Although smaller, it boasts superking and twin-single bedrooms as well as a third sleeping area, a mezzanine queen loft. Teenagers squabble over who is going to sleep up there. Semi-detached, yet very private, Corru Gate celebrates art, style and kiwi flavours, with themes of iconic kiwi corrugated iron and koru art. The cottage has a secluded, super sunny designer garden, with flax, ferns, barn-red detailing and garden art.
Unwind at our new ‘glamping’ (glamorous camping) site with the delightful Pearl and Ruby – our two lovingly restored retro caravans. Pearl is your bedroom; Ruby is for dining. Separate toilet, shower and kitchen sheds as well as a dining deck, outdoor bath, jetty and landscaped pond make for a spacious, private, romantic retreat for two.
